Congratulations Robby and Dani

Robby and Dani were married last Thursday. Robby is from Canada and Dani is from Brazil and together they made a perfect match right here in Utah!

We did their engagement pictures up American Fork Canyon and at Cascade Springs in the autumn in order to take advantage of the fantastic autumn colors.

Dani's bridals were done at the house of a friend of the family. What an amazing setting to show off such a beautiful bride!

Finally, the big day arrived on January 28th and Robby and Dani were sealed for Time and All Eternity in the LDS Draper Utah Temple.

And then off to the wedding reception where Dani's beautiful mom Vania (they really do look like sisters), helped her to get ready.

Vania also made the cake (made the flowers on the cake while in Brazil and transported them to Utah - amazing!).

Here are a couple of fun videos that I made from their pictures:

Congratulations Robby and Dani!

Maternity

Earlier last year I posted on this blog that Maternity is Beautiful. Well, last week I got a chance to do another beautiful maternity session with Sherrie who is a friend of a friend (Emily, who also volunteered to come help out with the photo session).

Sherrie is also a photographer and has been working in the field for quite a number of years. When I found out that she was pregnant I asked if she would be interested in allowing me do her maternity pictures. We came away with quite a few good images and she gave me permission to highlight a few of them here.

I know we just about wore her out with this photo session, but Sherrie really is beautiful and I loved working with her.

Thanks Sherrie! And Thanks Emily for helping!

Meet Ingrid Barros

Ingrid Barros

I am so lucky. As a photographer I get to meet some of the prettiest and most talented girls around. And this week, I got to meet Ingrid Barros, in person, at my little studio.

Ingrid is a Brazilian beauty, living here in Utah to further her studies in Interior Design at the LDS Business College and she hopes to move into communications with an emphasis on advertising.

While Ingrid is not a professional model or actress, I firmly believe she could do either one with little effort coming up to speed.

Let me just come right out and say it: I'm in love with the range of expressions this girl has. Ingrid is not only beautiful, but she has a sense of style and a range of emotions and a comfort level in front of the camera that I have simply never encountered until now.

I know this is a photography blog, and I could show you a ton of pictures (literally, a ton), but I think this short video sums it up pretty quickly. Please take a look:

Here are a few gems which, if clicked on, will link back to my web site to allow you to view more pictures there.
