I first met Blake and Tatiane in August of 2007 when I photographed Blake's sister's wedding (Marc and Jamie). Later that same year, I went on to photograph Blake and Tatiane's wedding. And then in May of 2009 I met Leticia, their beautiful newborn daughter. I had the pleasure of photographing Leticia for a year and wrote about her as I presented my Baby's First Year photography package.
Well... another year has passed. I'm happy to say that I had a chance to photograph Leticia again. And at the same time, I'm sad to say that it may be my last time. You see, Blake just got a wonderful job in Texas. And they left for Texas the day after our photo shoot. I'm not sure if I'll ever get to see them again.
So Blake, Tatiane and Leticia .. it's been a wonderful 4 years of getting to know you and getting to participate in your lives. I wish you all the best in your new adventures. Thank you, I'll miss you.
Now here are a few of my favorites from last week's photo session:
And as you can see, baby #2 is on its way!

Congratulations Emily and Garrett!
This past weekend I got to spend two days with Emily and Garrett. They were married at the Salt Lake Temple on May 13th and had their reception at Le Chateau in Provo on the 14th.
Friday was amazingly calm at the Salt Lake Temple. I suppose being "Friday the 13th" scared off quite a few people. Just one week prior, they had 33 weddings on Friday the 6th, but on the 13th there were only 17. The Salt Lake Temple is so popular that in the summer there are usually 80-100 weddings per day. But Emily and Garrett were loving the serenity and the time that it allowed us to get pictures of them and the whole family.
Marco Greis was assisting me both as a 2nd shooter as well as helping out with lighting at the wedding.
Below are some of my favorites from the day as well as a few formals that we took a few weeks ago:

I didn't get a chance to share these before, but we did Emily and Garrett's "Formals Session" just a few weeks prior to the wedding at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and later we moved on to nearby Memory Grove Park. These are a few of my favorites from that session:
The timing was just right at Memory Grove Park. The blossoms were out this week and by the next week they were gone!
Congratulations again Emily and Garrett - it was wonderful working with the two of you! :)
