Happy Birthday Leticia!

I first met Blake and Tatiane in August of 2007 when I photographed Blake's sister's wedding (Marc and Jamie). Later that same year, I went on to photograph Blake and Tatiane's wedding. And then in May of 2009 I met Leticia, their beautiful newborn daughter. I had the pleasure of photographing Leticia for a year and wrote about her as I presented my Baby's First Year photography package.

Well... another year has passed. I'm happy to say that I had a chance to photograph Leticia again. And at the same time, I'm sad to say that it may be my last time. You see, Blake just got a wonderful job in Texas. And they left for Texas the day after our photo shoot. I'm not sure if I'll ever get to see them again.

So Blake, Tatiane and Leticia .. it's been a wonderful 4 years of getting to know you and getting to participate in your lives. I wish you all the best in your new adventures. Thank you, I'll miss you.

Now here are a few of my favorites from last week's photo session:

Senior Photos (Featuring Yasmeen)

I love doing Senior Photos.  I especially love doing Senior Photos when the senior has a sense of who they are and what they like to do.  Yasmeen one such person.  I spoke briefly to her, asking what kinds of things she liked to do.  She mentioned ballet, reading and painting.  Ballet, of course, is easy to represent in pictures.  Reading and painting are a little more challenging, but with Yasmeen's style and willingness to bring things she likes and try them out for the photos, I think that together we created some awesome images.
