Coming from a family of track stars (her dad, her brothers and sisters), it only makes sense that Stacie Carter is also an excellent runner. We decided to have a little fun with her senior pictures and feature both the girly side of her as well as her runner side.
Back in 2002, Camila came to live with my little family for the school year as a foreign exchange student from Brazil. Her sister, Melina, had just left our family only a few months prior. Both of them mean a lot to us. And here Camila is back visiting Utah for a short time, and we took advantage of her visit to take a few pictures of her out at Antelope Island. We had a great time spending time together and having some fun with the camera. These are some of my favorite pictures:
I am so lucky. As a photographer I get to meet some of the prettiest and most talented girls around. And this week, I got to meet Ingrid Barros, in person, at my little studio.
Ingrid is a Brazilian beauty, living here in Utah to further her studies in Interior Design at the LDS Business College and she hopes to move into communications with an emphasis on advertising.
While Ingrid is not a professional model or actress, I firmly believe she could do either one with little effort coming up to speed.
Let me just come right out and say it: I'm in love with the range of expressions this girl has. Ingrid is not only beautiful, but she has a sense of style and a range of emotions and a comfort level in front of the camera that I have simply never encountered until now.
I know this is a photography blog, and I could show you a ton of pictures (literally, a ton), but I think this short video sums it up pretty quickly. Please take a look:
Here are a few gems which, if clicked on, will link back to my web site to allow you to view more pictures there.
At the urging of a good friend (and former wedding customer), I've put together a new program for my photography entitled "Baby's First Year".
Baby's first year comes in two flavors:
Package #1 - Monthly Monthly photos, from newborn to 1 year old. Each month a new photo session. Each month a new 8x10" photo. And each month a CD with that month's photos (4x6 size - 1200x1800 pixels). All of this comes at a cost of $594 for the year (equating to $49.50 per month), with half down at the beginning. The rest can be paid in installments.
Package #2 - Bi-monthly Same as Package #1, but every other month instead. The cost is $396 for the year (equating to $66 per month), again half down at the beginning and the rest can be paid in installments.
This is us... I don't get a chance to do much other than "candid shots" of my own family, but last Sunday the opportunity for Family Portraits arose and so we went for it.
This first shot was done by using a radio transmitter to fire my camera. I hopped in the back of the family and told everyone to look at the camera. AMAZINGLY... they did it. I have a hard enough time when I'm back behind the camera trying to get everyone to look at the camera at once. But here's the proof ... no head-swapping here, this is exactly how I shot the image:
After the big family group we decided to get a few pictures of each member of the family.
