Utah Engagement Pictures - Meet Lorrayne and Davi

Lorrayne and Davi are just about the most perfect couple ever. They are so in love and it shows in every single picture. I had the hardest time picking which pictures to show them, and have no idea how I'm going to pick favorites to show here on my blog.

Both Lorrayne and Davi are from Brazil. They will actually be getting married in Brazil and it makes me sad that I will not be there to photograph their wedding. But Lorrayne told me it had long been her dream to have me photograph her and her boyfriend and so when the opportunity came up, they drove all the way from California just to get engagement pictures done. I feel so honored to have been able to do this for them. What a wonderful couple!

 First a bit of explanation. Davi served a 2 year LDS Mission. During that time, he and Lorrayne wrote letters to each other. Partway through the sequence of images here, you will see that Lorrayne still carries a box of letters around with her. I love the expressions on their faces as they relive some of those moments while looking through the letters and reading parts of them to each other. Again ... what a wonderfully romantic couple!

Thank you Lorrayne and Davi for driving out to Utah and asking me to do your engagement pictures. What an honor! I wish you the very best as you two return back to Brazil and get married and hope that you'll be back here again some day so that we can follow up with more pictures! :)

Jessi Fox Maternity

Jessi and Jason are expecting a new little addition to the family in a couple of months. I often wait until much closer to the due day (usually about one month prior), but Jessi is so short that she is rocking the belly already.  So we decided to do her pictures early.  Check out her cute belly pics:

Fayth Daughton as Twiggy

As a model with a unique look, Fayth Daughton has been making a name for herself in her own right, but she asked if we could do a photo session inspired by Twiggy, a well known actress/model/singer from the 60s and 70s. With that in mind, Jillian Joy offered to help out with hair and makeup. Check out these Behind The Scenes images of Fayth and Jillian as they get ready for our shoot.

While Fayth was here, she found out that we have a pet snaked named Eugene and asked if we could do a few shots with the snake. She was practically giddy over the idea, her mom ... not so much ... especially after seeing that Eugene is an 8' Boa Constrictor. Take a look at some of the fun images with got with Fayth and Eugene.
